About the Role
School Bus Driver The school bus driver supports and advances the mission of FCS by transporting students to and from
school, assisting in other school-related transportation activities, and being very visible public representations of
the school for safe transportation and driver/student interaction; reports to the Transportation Coordinator. Adheres to
policies listed in the Transportation Handbook Fuels buses and vehicles, not allowing fuel to be below a half tank
Conducts daily pre-trip inspections and checks off appropriate form Arrives 15 minutes prior to trip departure times
Practices alertness and safe driving procedures at all times Keeps buses clean, free of trash and belongings Keeps
