About the Role

Crane Operator Operate cranes with telescoping and lattice booms to load, unload, move and position heavy material and

equipment at various work sites under conditions including: crane operations that require precision setting of items,

close proximity to workers, and crane operations using all boom lengths, angles and positions. Make precise load

placements where exact movements must be made to position loads accurately and safely, requiring rapid lifting capacity

judgments during operation. Provide instruction to Riggers and Rigging Workers in selection and installation of weight

handling gear such as slings, cables, and spreader bars used to lift, move and position various objects. Perform
