About the Role
Emergency Communications Specialist The City of Winchester is seeking a certified, skilled and dependable Emergency
Communications Specialist to support public safety operations. This part-time role is responsible for receiving and
dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls while maintaining professionalism and accuracy in high-pressure
situations. Ability to work varying shifts, flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays, and regular
reliable attendance Answers emergency and non-emergency calls, requests for service including law enforcement, fire and
emergency medical assistance Receives and transmits messages by radio and tracks all apparatus/units through Computer
