About the Role

General Maintenance Worker II Building Services General Definition of Work: Independently performs routine semi-skilled

work in the repair and maintenance of County school buildings, grounds and equipment. Does related work as required.

Shift work may be required. Maintains acceptable attendance and safety standards in accordance with Albemarle County

guidelines. This position is designated as "Essential Personnel", which requires that employees report to their job site

during emergency situations, such as snow, inclement weather, or other emergency situations. Essential Functions:

Performs painting and minor electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and/or related repairs and installations;
