mechanical, hydraulic, & electrical troubleshooting. Proper splicing & troubleshooting techniques for underground cables

Service all face equipment to fit in mining cycle Read electrical prints for equipment Perform chain & crawler

maintenance Operate all face equipment Troubleshoot & install leaky feeder & fiber optic cables Fire suppression testing

Downshift – change major components on all equipment Understand and service longwall mining equipment Understand the

tailgate tension cylinder and correct operation Change backflush filter and water pump filters MSHA Certified Electrical
