About the Role

The City of Roanoke's Department of Public Works is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our

Stormwater maintenance team as a Report Truck Driver. This full-time position works Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to

3:30 PM, and offers a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in street maintenance. In this role, you'll perform

critical work that keep our streets and City safe and clean, including shoveling, raking, sweeping, and clearing debris

and deceased animals. You will operate a dump truck along with a range of heavy and light equipment, and you'll complete

pre- and post-trip checklists on all vehicles and equipment you use throughout the day. You'll help coordinate and
