About the Role
SUMMARY The Fabricator I supports fabrication operations through material preparation, assembly, and basic fitting
activities while learning structural steel fabrication processes. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES Read basic fabrication
drawings. Perform material preparation, grinding, and hand torch coping. Assist with assembly and tack welding. Perform
MIG, FCAW, SMAW. Tack Weld AWS D1.1. D1.5 standards. (1F, 2F) Kit and organize fabrication components. Operate basic
fabrication equipment. Maintain work area organization and safety. QUALIFICATIONS Ability to successfully complete
inhouse training of AISC Fundamentals Training (FD-01 through FD-15). Basic blueprint reading skills. Ability to use
