Preventive Maintenance Technician

About the Role

General Statement of Duties Performs day-to-day maintenance, preventive maintenance and general repairs for all

motorized equipment used in the assigned department's operations; does related work as required. Essential Duties

Responsible for receiving new vehicles into the Division's fleet, preparing those vehicles to be placed into service.

Delivers Division vehicles to Maintenance and repair facilities, detailing the scope and nature of repairs, verifying

the completion and adequacy of repairs, and the decommissioning of Division vehicles. Sorts and stocks equipment

supplied in police vehicles. Picks up, stores and disposes of confidential and sensitive police paperwork, documents and
