About the Role

Food Service Truck Driver This is skilled work that involves the safe and prompt transfer and delivery of prepared and

unprepared foods to Norfolk City Public School cafeterias, satellite locations, and other school sponsored events.

Delivery may involve an established route requiring delivery within a specific time frame. Work requires the safe

operation of an assigned truck and knowledge of roads located in the city of Norfolk and surrounding areas. Employees in

this classification may transport items to other locations outside of Norfolk when requested, pick up, transfer, or

deliver the assigned items; and complete the related paperwork. Work requires the employee to perform minor maintenance
