About the Role

Substitute Car Driver/Monitor Under the general supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the Substitute Car

Driver/Monitor is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of students using a district vehicle that does

not require a CDL. This role combines driving responsibilities with student supervision duties, ensuring safety,

compliance, and appropriate student behavior at all times. Transportation Duties Safely transport students to and from

school. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper working condition.

Ensure all communication devices are functioning properly prior to departure. Observe traffic laws, road signs, and
